ASEAN Secretary vacancy

The ASEAN Secretariat is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Technical Officer, under the Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance Division, Cross-Sectoral Cooperation Directorate, ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Department. The Division is managing ASEAN cooperation in disaster management and humanitarian assistance, including facilitating the implementation of the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) and the establishment of the ASEAN Co-ordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre). The Division is working closely with relevant ASEAN bodies, in particular the ASEAN Committee on Disaster Management (ACDM) comprising heads of national disaster management organisations in ASEAN Member States. This position is open to Indonesian citizens or ASEAN nationals with permanent resident status in Indonesia. Livelihood Aquaculture Officer, Aceh

Islamic Relief Worldwide is an International Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in Birmingham, UK in 1984. Islamic Relief has a consultative status (special category) with the economic and Social Council of the United Nations is full member of British Overseas NGOs for Development (BOND) and a signatory to the code of conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and NGOs in Disaster Relief. It seeks to promote sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities through relief and development programmes. Islamic Relief Indonesia is part of Islamic Relief Worldwide which has been working in Indonesia since 2003. Islamic Relief Indonesia provides service and support to the communities in mandate areas, based on the MoU with Department of Home Affairs. There are some initiative sectors under Emergency and Development program such as Shelter, Water and Sanitation, Health and Nutrition, Livelihood, Orphans, Education, Marines Fisheries, and Disaster Preparedness and Response. Through these sectors, Islamic Relief Indonesia plays significant role in alleviating the suffering and poverty of the world's poorest people. Islamic Relief Indonesia seeks to hire committed and experienced person for the following: Position: Livelihood Aquaculture Officer Base: Singkil - NAD Duration: 3 (three) months KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: . Supervi/Provide technical support, coaching/mentoring to the KJ Apung , Rumpon and Bagan beneficiaries. . Improve the knowledge and skill of IR staff on KJA, Rumpon and Bagan Apung management. . Assist community mobilizes on progress monitoring of KJA, Rumpon and Bagan apung activities. . Coordinate with local fisheries department in a regular Basis. . Assist team members to organize technical trainings for the group members. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: . BS degree in fisheries and aquaculture. . Sufficient technical knowledge on KJA, Rumpon and Bagan Apung . Experience working with local communities and community development project . Minimum 03 years working experience with International NGO. . Report writing skill. . Good in computer operation.
